Open Your Heart and Let Christ In.
“because[a] if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe[b] in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For one believes[c] with the heart, leading to righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, leading to salvation.”
The Steps to Salvation
It’s easy as 1, 2, 3
Step 1: Confess
Your personal proclamation and declaration placing Jesus Christ as the head of your life. It is a renouncing of all sin and sinful activities within you, which separates you from the pure presence of God. To give Him total lordship and reign over you, therefore allowing the necessary changes and adjustments to begin to be made in your life.
“If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Step 2: Believe
By allowing the Lord into your life, your heart becomes enlightened toward the things of the spirit realm therefore igniting your faith to trust in God on ridiculous levels. With everything that is transpiring in our society today, we all could use something positive to hope for and look forward to. With Christ in your life and the pursuit of a closer walk with Him through your connection to a local church and pastor, you will begin to see the way out of every unconquerable situation in your life.
“Now faith is the assurance[a] of things hoped for, the conviction[b] of things not seen. 2 Indeed, by faith[c] our ancestors received approval.”
Step 3: Receive
Change is never an easy or smooth transition in life; it will often force you to take a long and hard look at all the imperfections and impurities of your life. Change will always seem difficult to someone who believes that all change is instantaneous. The truth is that change is a process that we are exposed to everyday. Each day that we live our bodies are ever changing and this is how your walk with Christ will eventually grow and blossom. Pace yourself and give yourself room and time by permitting God and His word to revolutionize you daily.
“ Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” 22 When he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”
