Pure motive/intent. While we all possess the potential to decide for selfishness, we must earnestly pray to the Lord for assistance in keeping our choices pure. Prayer against retaliation, vengeance, lasciviousness, pride and filthy lucre, just to name a few things. Your presence, aid and gift should be free of anything that would compromise your witness as a believer. Keep the motive pure and God will be glorified.
